Be Prepared for Emergencies and Disasters

Disasters happen anywhere and anytime. When disaster strikes, you may not have much time to respond.

A highway spill or hazardous material leakage could mean evacuation. A winter storm could confine your family at home. An earthquake, flood, tornado, or any other disaster could cut water, electricity, and telephone services for hours or days.

Would your family be prepared to cope with an emergency until help arrives?

Nearly every community is subject to some kind of natural disaster whether it is snowstorms, ice storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, mudslides, earthquakes, or a tsunami,,, the list goes on and on. so it makes sense to prepare in advance for a variety of disasters.

Survival KitEvery emergency preparedness kit list around the world includes a candle.

Our Pheylonian beeswax Survival Candles and Lanterns provide a safe, non-toxic source of light, heat and a means to cook food and heat water, making them a must for every disaster preparedness kit. Remember they are made from 100% Pure Cappings Beeswax and will emit negative ions.

Our spring loaded lanterns are a must in any kit as they fold down for compact storage in a backpack or glove compartment. They can be hung for lighting in any room, hallway, or emergency shelter. The exterior glass shield protects the flame from being blown out by the wind.

Caution: Always use heat resistent, preferably metal, cooking pans over an open flame as non-resistent utensils may crack or explode.

Beeswax candles are ideal for everyday use or during any emergency situation, with a low environmental impact and a small carbon footprint.

Ideal for cars, boats, planes, cottages, patios. Essential for hikers, campers, sportsmen, scouts, travelers, etc.

Beeswax burns hotter and many times longer than paraffin and other emergency fuels.

It's a fantastic little cook stove. Zaps pesky bugs and mosquitoes. Casts a warm golden light.
